What is Governance?

Governance is the way the rules and actions are produced, sustained, and regulated. Angell Town Board are responsible for the governance of the organisation.

Governance Structure:

Organisational governance structure specifies the distribution of rights and responsibilities among different participants in the organisation, such as the board, managers, shareholders and other stakeholders, and spells out the rules and procedures for making decisions on the organisations affairs.

Organisation Hierarchy Chart:

The responsibilities of the Board include:

  • Setting the organisation’s strategic aims
  • Providing the leadership to put them into effect
  • Supervising the management of the business;
  • And reporting to the members of the society (shareholders) on their stewardship
